Color Space Art

Inge Cascante's style is neither figurative nor concrete. Her abstract structures and shapes deliberately leave room for associations without stifling the imagination. The colors surge to the foreground without determining the effect on their own. The writing, which can be found in many paintings, is expressive, yet its meaning is left open. Even though there are influences from abstract expressionism in the paintings - the aim is not to follow an artistic trend or to become absorbed in it. She does not want to use her paintings to depict reality. Instead, the intention is for the beholder to create his or her own emotional reality.
